Motorbike lessons with Paula

PJ as she prefers to be called is firstly female, not that many of these around, so you are being taught by someone fairly unique before we even begin! She passed her test at 17 so that is X amount of years ago, you know the rules. She was self taught so her early riding years consisted of a lot of trauma, damage and cost. One of the reasons she became an instructor so you don't have to go through the same.

She is very experienced at this and has held an instructor qualification for over 10 years. She was only qualified at the basic level and has recently climbed the ladder so to speak. She passed her CBT1 at Cardington in sep 08 and is planning on doing the DAS assessment very soon. Up date, Paula has now passed her DAS assessment at Cardington so she is able to teach all aspects of rider training for tests. Some qualified riders may know of Paula as she has worked for a few of the the other local bike schools before coming to us.

PJ has done a number of other things since learning to ride and instruct, namely a BMW off road course and the Jimmy Fireblade Wheelie School. So she is a very experienced rider, she did own an R1 and a Fireblade, recently acquired a Triumph, so she is a fast mean rider too! Reading into this you may think instructing is probably not her prime vocation and maybe she ought to take up racing instead! Point is, as with us all, we are enthusiasts first, instructors second and we have a wealth of experience of all different types of riding to draw on. As you can see by this picture PJ knows how to get riding a bike across, the two young lads were up and running in minutes. Welcome to the team PJ, good to have you on board.
